LOSE YOUR FAT, NOT JUST YOUR WEIGHT

1. Weight loss refers to the reduction in total body weight, which includes muscle, water and fat.

2. On the contrary, fat reduction means reducing the fat stored in different parts of the body.

3. Achieving health by reducing fat is a healthier way than by reducing weight, so it is necessary to understand the difference between them.

4. When you work out in the gym or sweat for hours, you are not losing fat, but your body is converting the calories from the already stored fat into energy.

5. After this, as soon as you eat the food again, the body again equalizes its fat storage.

6. Therefore, to reduce fat, include the right amount of protein in your diet by paying proper attention to your diet, and rely on exercises like yoga and Pilates.

7. You have to understand that most of our body weight is made up of water and muscle, and tampering with them is a completely unhealthy way to lose weight.

8. Muscles are an important part of the body which helps us to control blood sugar and we also look young for a long time.

9. If you have lost weight by reducing muscle mass, then it is more likely that soon your body will store more fat.

10. That is why, we should focus our attention on reducing fat and not just on losing weight.

AVOID SUFFERING FROM OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE PERSONALITY DISORDER (OCPD)

1. These people are perfectionists and want to have control over everything, because they feel that what they do starts with them and ends with them.

2. For this, they themselves also take pain, and work day and night to do every task better, because they feel that no one else can do better than them.

3. These people are very restless, stressed and not happy most of the time, and such people also bother others a lot, because no one can live up to the scale of their expectations.

4. Such people do not like anyone else's work, and if you work in their way then you are very good, otherwise you are the worst person in the world.

5. They also have a very strong habit of finding even minute faults in others' things, and they decide what is right or wrong according to their conclusion only.

6. If you find your behavior to be spmewhat like this, then you should refrain from it, because it is a psychiatric condition that needs treatment.

7. If you are unable to give up this habit on your own, then take the help of a counselor or a psychiatrist, because the truth is that when even a small child does not want to be in anyone's control all the time, then why will adults allow themselves to be in your control?

WHY DO HUMANS SHOUT AT EACH OTHER WHEN ANGRY?

1. When people are angry with each other, their hearts become far away from each other.

2. In this state they cannot hear each other without shouting.

3. The more angry they get, the greater the distance between them, and then the louder they have to shout.

4. When people like each other, they talk softly instead of shouting because their hearts are closer to each other, leaving a minimal distance between them.

5. And when they like each other very much, then they don't even have to speak as they understand each other only by looking at each other.

GOOD HABITS ARE THE KEY TO SUCCESS

1. Every person wants to be successful, but despite all efforts, some people are not able to move forward due to lack of some good habits.

2. Successful people use time wisely, and always think that time should not be wasted in any way, because they value time.

3. Successful people listen and understand the persons in front, without interrupting them, until their point is completed, and only then do they say or explain their point of view.

4. Successful people, instead of relying on the right time, know how to make best use of time, by continuing to do their work even in bad times.

5. Successful people work peacefully in every kind of situation, and in such a way that even the person sitting with them does not come to know about it.

6. Successful people also talk calmly, and solve any difficult matter with a cool mind.

7. Successful people never think bad about others, nor are they jealous of their success, rather they always praise their good works and success.

HOW TO CONTROL FEELING OF JEALOUSY IN CHILDREN?

1. When a child is jealous of his classmates regarding academic, skills and sports, he starts judging himself as inferior and unworthy of other children.

2. In such a situation, parents should recognize the abilities of children and draw their attention to their individual abilities and characteristics and make them proficient in them.

3. Sometimes, a child becomes jealous of his own sibling, which can spoil even a healthy relationship, so with love and patience, explain to elder children that when a new member arrives or a younger brother or sister is there, there will be no shortage in their love towards him because of them.

4. As children reach adolescence, they automatically develop social jealousy towards their friends which they did not have in childhood, due to which their self-confidence starts to decrease and they become isolated, or sometimes they also start behaving aggressively with other children.

5. Instead of leaving them alone, encourage them to share their point of view with their friends or family members, or encourage them to write their views in a diary, so that parents can know the exact reasons behind their jealousy and deal with it together to find ways.

6. Nowadays children are also suffering from material jealousy, so it is the responsibility of parents to make them understand that the financial condition of every family is different, and they should be happy in what they have.

7. To remove the feeling of jealousy in children, it is necessary to listen carefully to how they interact with their friends, like what they are happy about or what they are upset about, but don't compare them repeatedly with other children.

HOW TO REDUCE CHILD'S COMPLAINING HABIT?

1. Every child has his own likes and dislikes, but when he starts complaining, it is not good for his mental health, because his friends will leave him and this habit will remain in future also.

2. In such a situation, it is important that you listen to him properly, keep eye-to-eye contact with him, tell that you have listened to him, and then explain that this behavior is not right.

3. If possible, record this habit of his and his talking style in mobile, show him and explain that improvements have to be made in the way of getting his point across.

4. If the child complains a lot about something, then teach him how to solve that problem, so that he will be prepared for future difficult situations, and also understand that complaining on everything is not the solution to any problem.

5. Your response to every complaint of the child matters a lot, so the more you will speak to him lovingly and without annoyance, the more deeply it will influence the child.

6. If the child is being negative about everything, then it is your responsibility to change his attitude, so teach him to be grateful and happy about his own things, instead of complaining about something that he does not have.

7. Before reacting to any habit of the child, it is necessary to ascertain if you also have the habit of complaining, because children learn the most from habits of their elders, and so it is important to change your behavior too.

DON'T MAKE NEGATIVE THINKING A HABIT

1. Since there are all kinds of experiences in life, sometimes  even when our thinking is positive, we start thinking negative although everything seems right.

2. Also, it is not always possible that we think only good all the time, so we just have to take care that negative thinking does not become our habit.

3. Whenever you are surrounded by negative thoughts, start thinking that if such thoughts come to your loved ones then what advice would you give them, because this will lead you to positive thinking and your focus will turn towards good things.

4. Exercising, shifting from one place to another in the room, or even going out of that room are often good ways to get rid of negative thinking.

5. Expressing gratitude to others, for the good things that happened to you in life, also helps you to keep away from negative thinking, so we should include saying "thank you" often in our daily habit.

6. When someone does something good, write to him how you felt about it and how happy you are, because suppressing your feelings of happiness also leads to negativity.

7. When the mind is troubled by negative thoughts again and again, let whatever is coming in the mind come out, accept your feelings towards it, take long breaths and relax, as this will make you feel good.

8. Lastly, think seriously about distancing yourself from people who always have negative thinking and attitude, because this habit is like an infection which spreads rapidly.

DO YOU WANT TO STEP INTO BUSINESS?

1. Identify innovative ideas that stand out from others and can be turned into sustainable business opportunities.

2. Your vision towards your selected idea should be completely clear and start at a small level first.

3. Do the homework related to it well and prepare a roadmap, which should include its features, benefits, price, market condition, finance etc.

4. For capital, you can take a loan from the bank, your friends and family, or even start with your own savings.

5. Include multiskilled people in your team who believe in themselves and have the ability to make decisions.

6. You should also remain dedicated towards your business goal with a positive attitude.

BASIC ETIQUETTES OF ONLINE VIRTUAL MEETINGS

1.Follow daily meeting schedules for logging in promptly.

2.Check all related gadgets, like internet connection, laptop batteries, bluetooth connectivity, chargers, earphone, etc., at least 15 minutes before the scheduled meeting.

3. Learn to use mute and unmute settings to avoid background noise, disturbance during the meeting, and subsequent bad impression that you are not serious.

4. Switch off notifications sound as it distracts everybody's attention.

5. Earmark an appropriate place at home for these meetings and keep your sitting background clean and spotless.

6. Always select office going clothes and dress neatly.

7. Always maintain eye contact with the camera lens and raise your hand to speak.

8. Don't caress your face or hair often during the meeting and never chew anything.

9. Always be alert and attentive during the meeting as the camera catches everything.

10. Even minor errors during virtual online meetings can spoil your carefully built good office image.

TIPS TO IMPROVE CHILDREN'S COMMUNICATION SKILLS

1. Teach them to listen carefully to others.

2. Teach them to start their talk only after others have finished talking.

3. Explain them that by maintaining eye contact with others, full attention remains focused on their words and the mind does not wander.

4. Explain them that speaking your words politely creates your positive image in the minds of others.

5. Due to this, others also listen and pay attention to your words seriously, and even difficult tasks get easily done.

6. Teach them the skill of speaking their thoughts in the least amount of words.

7. Give them good books to read and encourage talking about them.

8. Always talk in front of them in a good tone and simple words.

9. Pay attention to the way they interact.

10. Interrupt them immediately if they use wrong accent or indecent words.

HEALTHY BODY, HAPPY MIND

If body is healthy then mind will be happy

1. In today's busy life, our body is the most neglected, on whose strength we live life and enjoy every happiness.

2. The most essential for good health is regular diet, exercise or yoga, morning walk, physical examination, following doctor's instructions, and abstinence.

3. Apart from this, always keep yourself full of positive thinking, energy, willpower, enthusiasm and happiness, only then the body will be completely healthy.

4. Considering life as paramount, instead of becoming an example of tolerance while facing any physical pain or stress, get your problems diagnosed and treated by your doctor.

5. Do what you love, give yourself due importance, don't put unreasonable expectations on others, and learn to find happiness in small things.

SUCCESS IN GROUP DISCUSSION

1. Select a formal dress for the discussion.

2. Keep your voice clear and loud during the discussion.

3. Maintain eye contact with moderators and other participants.

4. Do not try to force participants to agree to your viewpoint.

5. Give your views only after the front participant's viewpoint is over.

6. Keep discussions on the right track.

7. If you don't understand a participant, instead of being aggressive, listen patiently to him again.

8. Show your leadership ability with reasonable points during the debate.

9. Your body language should make it appear that you are an equal participant in the discussion.

10. Maintain your confidence throughout the discussion.

MOVE ON LEAVING REGRETS BEHIND

1. There are a few mistakes in life from which some people are able to get rid of their remorse, but some people get themselves so entangled that they can not overcome it even if they want.

2. If regrets are not left at the right time, then life does not pick up its pace, due to which the confidence to take right decisions is often lost.

3. Write down all things you regret in your life, revisit the situations when you made those decisions, and explain to yourself whether they were need of the hour, and whether your regrets are worth it or not.

4. If you have done something wrong to someone that has caused harm or inconvenience to him, then the only option to overcome your remorse is to apologize to him, which will surely give you peace.

5. The most effective rule to come out of your remorse is to forgive yourself, by consoling yourself that you were innocent then and mistakes can be committed by anyone.

6. If you move forward by being positive, considering your wrong decisions as a lesson of life, then your regrets can become your strength in the future.

FIRST IMPRESSION

1. It takes only the first 30 seconds to make your first impression on someone, as the person in front of you makes his opinion about you during this period itself.

2. For your first impression to be effective in an important meeting, some special things should be taken care of.

3. If you are going for a business meeting, take a deep breath, remember every motivational thing you have prepared and move forard with confidence.

4. Remember the full name of the persons you are going to meet and address them by their names, which sends a better message and sets the tone for further conversation.

5. Apart from this, your dress should also be such that it impresses the persons in the meeting in the first 3 seconds, so that during the rest of the meeting, they also keenly notice your other abilities too.

BIGGEST MISTAKE

1. Many times we make a big mistake due to lack of correct information, and we realize it from others after a long time.

2. Although making a mistake is also a learning process, the wisdom lies in how quickly that mistake is rectified.

3. If you do not rectify your mistake even after getting the right information, then it is your biggest mistake.

4. This mistake can then become the biggest reason for your failure.

MANY ASPECTS OF MODERN PARENTING

1. Parenting means not only taking care of a child after giving birth, but also making it a responsible citizen in the society, because good upbringing is the biggest contribution in building a good society.

2. What you teach your children and the way you treat them will be remembered by them for life, and will be reflected in their personality as they grow up.

3. Childhood experiences increase or decrease a person's self-confidence and self-reliance throughout life, due to which some of the reasons are also the faults of parents themselves, so there is a need to change some of their habits during parenting.

4. Encouragement of parents is very important in the development of children, therefore do not make fun of any of their hard work and do not find faults in every work, so that next time they can try more and better.

5. Since children have their own unique habits, avoid comparing them with each other, because by doing so, mutual irritation and jealousy can develop in them.

6. Never complain about your children in front of outsiders, because it has a very deep and long-lasting effect on their minds, which later also affects their self-confidence.

7. If children are beaten up for every mistake, then it gets embedded in their mind that they are not good and no one likes them, due to which a feeling of insecurity builds up in them, which when they grow up, gets reflected in their personality as well.

BE EMOTIONALLY MATURE TOO

1. If someone's point of view is different from ours, and we get annoyed over it, then it shows our emotional immaturity.

2. Some people, who associate any slightest thing with their prestige, respect or gender, with the argument of being overly emotional, are actually immature and others slowly start shunning them.

3. When we keep talking or doing evil behind the backs of people we don't like, it is also the result of our extreme emotional immaturity.

4. Every emotion of life has its importance, like being angry, sad, happy, thrilled etc., which are necessary to be used properly to show our emotional maturity.

5. For a happy, loving and successful life, both heart and mind should be in harmony, without becoming slaves of both, because we are human beings, not robots.

TEACH CHILDREN PROPER RESTRAINED LANGUAGE

1. If you are thinking that your children will learn the right language on their own, then you are thinking wrong, because it is very important to teach them proper language at the right time, so that wrong and bad language does not enter their mind's vocabulary.

2. Always talk to children in a loving language, so that they will see you as a role model and learn to respect good language, and they may even learn to speak a better language than you.

3. For this, bring a change in yourself, because they will then always learn to respect people, talk with love, humility, responsibility, work etc.

4. Talk to children precisely and directly in easy words, because they will not understand what is said by twisting it in difficult words.

5. If children use harsh or abusive language in front of you, stop them immediately, because it is also your responsibility to teach them to talk politely.

6. If the children have learned wrong language, then without blaming them, make them realize how sad you are by their use of such language, because by doing this they will change themselves emotionally and will choose the right direction on their own.

ALWAYS ADOPT GOOD HABITS AT YOUR WORKPLACE

1. Persons with good conduct and good qualities in their field of work earn good success, happiness, peace and prosperity in life, while those who adopt bad habits keep craving endlessly for them.

2. Never leave the side of truth, because even if success is achieved by resorting to lies for small selfishness, it does not remain permanent and you have to face slander sooner or later.

3. Any such work is always successful in which the spirit of cooperation is involved, because your success is very much dependent on the support of colleagues and your group too.

4. Since having one quality is not enough for success, the more information you acquire related to your field of work, the more the quality of your work will improve.

5. Apart from this, you should also be a part of training programs in other related areas apart from your core work, which will increase your efficiency and reduce your dependence on others.

6. Always remember that it is forgivable to fail in an effort, but it is unforgivable not to even try to be successful.

DON'T IGNORE HOUSEHOLD DUST

1. Around 360 types of dangerous toxic substances can be present in household dust, and sometimes it can be more toxic than outdoor dust.

2. One third of this is due to weather, climate and different types of materials used in house construction.

3. All food items made, or rotting, in the kitchen, insects eating them, carpet dust and fiber, cotton coming out of clothes and bedding etc. are also part of this dust.

4. Most of the dust is produced from furniture, sofas, mattresses, blankets, clothes, newspapers, books, and footwear.

5. This dust also contains bacteria, viruses, fungal spores, plant fibres, leaf tissues, microscopic organisms and their excreta.

6. In homes with pets, their fallen hair and dead cells also add to this dust.

7. About 30 lakh people die every year from such household dust, and about 5 lakh of them are Indians.

What to do?

1. Get every water leakage in the house fixed immediately.

2. For movement of clean air, keep windows open.

3. After dusting, wipe the surface with a wet cloth too.

4. Occasionally clean chairs, sofas, curtains, bedding etc. with a vacuum cleaner.

5. Keep mattresses, rugs, carpets and bedding in the sun from time to time.

6. In place of carpets and rugs, use wooden floors, tiles etc.

7. Keep plants or flowers in open places only.

8. Do not allow pets in the bedroom.

9. Always cover your mouth while dusting.

DON'T HESITATE, SHOW COURAGE

1. Continuing with our fixed ideas, we often close the door to many new things, whereas welcoming them will give us opportunities to learn a lot.

2. We hesitate to move forward on any new path because we believe that this work is far beyond us, whereas with a little change in the way of our thinking, everything is possible.

3. If we are not able to control any of our fears, or we are afraid to go ahead in any field, then we should also take help of experts.

4. Within our society, we will find many such people who are setting up examples by their perseverance, courage and hard work, and from them we can get inspiration for ourselves to be able to take the initiative to do new things.

5. We all have our strengths, and our shortcomings too, so we should assess ourselves keeping both of them in mind, and expect from ourselves as much as we can.

6. Success or failure is a part of any process, but the most important thing is an honest try from our side, so give enough importance to efforts, and think how we can improve our skills.

ALWAYS KEEP LEARNING NEW THINGS

1. You may have completed formal education, but never let your learning process stop, be constantly aware of new developments, and keep increasing your knowledge.

2. The world is changing rapidly, so stay up to date on what's new in your field of work, by attending professional development and specialized training courses, as these will help you build your career.

3. Connect with good people to explore as many avenues as possible, build contacts with them to exchange information, and also take advantage of professional networking social sites.

4. During your work, if someone has said something on your flaws, then do not take those things to heart at all, and do not give your reaction on them under any condition.

5. If possible, try to improve yourself by listening carefully to such comments, because this will increase your confidence.

2. Therefore, inculcate in them from the beginning that one should never back down from helping anyone, and it is also their responsibility to take special care of and support their younger siblings and other children.

3. If they show anger about something, or use profanity, or try to harm or bully younger ones to show their stubbornness, then stop them immediately, or even punish them if necessary.

4. Apart from this, encourage them to do their own small tasks, so that they learn to be self-reliant and live their life on their own.

3. Our perspective of seeing every aspect of life, our behavior, our way of feeling and our understanding makes us different from others at the workplace and leads to success.

4. Everyone wants the attitude of the person working with them to be correct, because both people with the right attitude and the right environment matter for success in the workplace.

5. Connect only with the right attitude colleagues at your workplace, because your association has a deep impact on your career, so if any colleagues are proving to be an obstacle in your path of improvement, then distance yourself from them.

IS YOUR NATURE QUARRELSOME?

1. There are many of us who get caught up in trivial matters and are not easily ready to forget these things, rather we also provoke others because we want it to happen again and again.

2. Gradually it becomes a kind of addiction, and we stick to something  trivial and go to any extent to protect our ego.

3. To get rid of this addiction, keep low expectations from yourself and others, and tell others that they too should not have high expectations from you.

4. Use your zeal to achieve positive goals, instead of remembering bitter experiences of your life over and over again, so that your forgiving quality gets highlighted.

5. Forgiveness does not mean to be reunited with the same person, rather it is a promise to yourself that you will think well because forgiveness is only related to you.

DISCIPLINE IN CHILDREN

1. In most countries, it is illegal to raise hands on children, not only for parents but also for teachers, because violence can never bring improvement in children, although it is quite difficult to discipline young children.

2. Constant physical or psychological punishment of children makes them accustomed to getting punished, and then it has no effect on them.

3. In fact, punishing children regularly destroys long-term goals, such as learning good behavior and becoming better citizens, although peace is established in the home or classroom for a short time.

4. It is a harsh truth that even today, parents, teachers and administrators all over the world rely heavily on the reward and punishment system for disciplining children.

5. On the contrary, they should think about the diagnosis of problems arising in children which is a hindrance in maintaining their discipline, because by doing this, children easily bring themselves under the purview of discipline.

6. Therefore you should talk to the child calmly about what is the root of the real problem behind his behavior, and prepare alternative creative plans.

7. Most teachers consider the child's problem outside the school, that is, the children's home, so they remain indifferent to the diagnosis of their problem, whereas the problem is not of the home but of the mental capacity of the children.

8. Teachers should focus on the fact that the environment of the school makes a positive difference in the child's behavior, no matter what the child's situation at home.

TEACHING

All teaching implies giving and taking.

The first test of true teaching must be, that the teaching should not contradict reason.

He alone teaches who has something to give, teaching is not about talking, teaching is not about imparting doctrines, it is about communicating.

Until the inner teacher opens, all outside teaching is in vain.

No one was ever really taught by another; each of us has to teach himself.

WEAKNESS

All weakness, all bondage, is imagination.

The weak have no will, and can never work.

We lie, steal, kill and commit other crimes because we are weak.

Weakness leds to all kinds of misery, physical and mental.

There are two curses here: first our weakness and misery, secondly our hatred and dried up hearts.

If you think yourselves strong, strong you will be.

STRENGTH

Strength is the medicine that the ignorant must have with them, when they are oppressed by the learned.

Strength is the medicine which the poor must have with them, when they are tyrannised by the rich.

Strength is elicity, eternal life, and immortal; weakness is constant strain, misery, and death.

The remedy for weakness is not thinking about weakness, but thinking of strength.

What this world needs today is strength, more than it ever did before.

This is the great fact: strength is life, weakness is death.

TROUBLE

1. Use your prudence in times of trouble.

2. Do not be afraid of any problem, instead think and understand about it.

3. Then use your intelligence to face it.

SELFISHNESS

1. Our own selfishness makes us the most arrogant cowards; our own selfishness is the great cause of fear and cowardice.

2. Selfishness is the chief sin, thinking of ourselves first, and there should be no motive for selfishness.

3. With the sense of possession comes selfishness, and selfishness brings on misery.

4. The exercise of might is invariably the exercise of selfishness, and it is only selfishness that causes the difference between good and evil.

RESOLUTION

1. We must have faith in ourselves, we must become world-movers, for everything is within us.

2. Hundreds will fall in the struggle, hundreds will be ready to take it up; each one will have to save himself, each one to do his own work.

3. None of us can get anything other than what we fix our hearts upon.

MISERY

 1. The misery that we suffer comes from ignorance, from fear, from unsatisfied desire, from non-discrimination between the real and the unreal.

2. All the misery of the world is caused by the slavery to the senses, caused by sin, and by no other cause.

3. All the misery we have is of our own choosing, and there is no misery where there is no want.

LEADER

 1. It is a very dificult task to take on the role of a leader; there must not be a shade of jealousy or selfishness, then you are a leader.

2. There is no allegiance possible when there is no character in the leader, and perfect purity ensures the most lasting allegiance and confidence.

3. A leader must be impersonal, and not every one is born to lead; the best leader, however, is one who "leads like the baby".

FEAR

1. Fear is a sign of weakness, the greatest cause of misery in the world, and the moment you fear, you are nobody.

2. Fear is death, fear is sin, fear is hell, fear is unrighteousness, fear is wrong life, fear is the greatest of all superstitions.

3. It s fear that brings misery, fear that brings death, fear that breeds evil, fear that causes degradaton and sin.

4. Because Nature is selfless, it is strong and fearless, for only to selfishness comes fear, and when fear ceases, then alone come perfect happiness and perfect love.

FAITH

1. Faith is not belief; it is the grasp on the Ultimate, an illumination, and he who has no faith in himself can never have faith in God.

2. A man must not only have faith but intellectual faith too, as it is one of the potent factors of humanity and of all religions, and it is faith that makes a lion of a man.

3. So long as you have faith in your guru, teacher and guide, nothing will be able to obstruct your way, and this reverence must enter into you.

FAILURE AND SUCCESS

 1. There is no such thing as failure in the universe.

2. There is success and failure in every work.

3. The degree of unselfishness alone marks the degree of success everywhere.

EVIL

 1. Evil exists, and there is no shirking the fact that each is responsible for the evil anywhere in the world, but there is nothing that is absolutely evil; darkness is less light, evil is less good, impurity is less purity.

2. The cause of evil is our desire to be superior to others and our selfishness; force against force never cures, and the only cure for evil is unselfishness.

3. This "me and mine" is the very root of all the evil in the world, and the evils that are in the world are caused by none else but ourselves.

4. Every reaction in the form of hatred or evil is so much loss to the mind; in doing evil we injure ourselves and others also.

5. Every evil thought or deed of hatred or any thought of reaction, if it is controlled, will be laid in our favour.

EDUCATION

1. Education is not filling the mind with a lot of facts, but the manifestation of the perfection already in man.

2. It is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested, all your life, but the concentration of mind.

3. We want real education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet.

4. If the poor cannot come to education, education must reach them at the plough, in the factory, everywhere.

5. There is only one purpose in the whole of life - education.

DUTY

 1. No duty is ugly, no duty is impure, each duty has its own place, and according to the circumstances in which we are placed, we must perform our duties.

2. Duty is sweet only through love, love shines in freedom alone, and only true duty is to be unattached and to work as free beings.

3. Our duty is to encourage everyone in his struggle to live up to his own highest ideal, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the truth.

4. Every duty is holy, and devotion to duty is the highest form of the worship of God; it is certainly a source of great help in enlightening and emancipating the deluded and ignorance-encumbered souls.

5. Ours are the duties; let the fruits take care of themselves.

DESIRE

 1. There is no limit to man's desires; he goes on desiring and when he comes to a point where desire cannot be fulfilled, the result is pain.

2. Desire is without beginning, is infinite, its fulfilment limited, and it will not come unless there is something outside to fulfil it.

3. The satisfaction of desire only increases it, as oil poured on fire, but makes it burn more fiercely.

4. Our desires also are constantly changing - what we would prize today we would reject tomorrow - and this what binds us to makes slaves of us.

5. Desire, want, is the father of all misery, and while we hope for anything, it still rules us.

6. It is the "desireless" who bring great results to pass.

CULTURE

1. It is culture that can withstand shocks, not a simple mass of knowledge.

2. It is spiritual culture and ethical culture alone that can change wrong racial tendencies for the better.

4. The finer the organism, the higher the culture.

CHARITY

1. The hand was made to give always, and charity never fails.

2. Test everything, try everything, and then believe it, and if you find it to be for the good of many, give it to all.

3. There is no higher virtue than charity.

4. For the good of the many, for the happiness of the many, great-souled men take their birth.

CHARACTER

1. It is character that cleaves its way through adamant walls of difficulties, and it gets built through great struggle.

2. Character is repetition of habits, and repeated habits alone can reform character.

3. Character establishes itself through a thousand stumbles, and it is character alone that pays everywhere.

4. The heart never reacting, this is what builds character.

CONCENTRATION AND DETACHMENT

1. The power of concentration is the only key to the treasurehouse of knowledge.

2. Concentration is the essence of all knowledge.

3. Along with development of concentration, we must develop power of detachment.

4. Almost all our suffering is caused by not having power of detachment.

5. There come moments in our life when we feel our play is finished, but the fruit falls from the tree only when it gets ripe.

6. Unto him comes everything, who does not care for anything.

ATTACHMENT

1. Attachment comes only where we expect a return.

2. Everything that you do under compulsion goes to build up attachment.

3. As soon as we identify ourselves with the work we do, all misery and pain come from attachment towards it.

4. Our misery comes not from work, but by our getting attached to something.

5. If you can get rid of your attachment to a single thing, you are on the way to liberation.

ARROGANCE AND HUMILITY

1. Truth will never come into our minds so long as there will remain the faintest shadow of egotism.

2. Even after attaining the highest position, we should remain humble by staying away from arrogance.

3. We can win everyone's heart with humility.

4. By humility, we can also make our enemies our own.

5. Therefore, this rascal ego has to be obliterated.

WORRY ONLY LEADS TO PYRE

1. Problems in life cannot be prevented.

2. These are our challenges, and by solving them we increase our own spiritual development.

3. Actually every new problem makes us smarter than before.

4. Whenever there is a problem in life, think with a cool mind what measures can be taken to overcome it.

5. Never let worries rise in your mind, because they only lead to the pyre and do not give any solution.

HOW TO OVERCOME FEAR?

1. Question yourself what exactly you are afraid of.

2. Then think what is the real reason for this fear.

3. Next, imagine positively about that fear.

4. If you are afraid of swimming, imagine that you are swimming happily in the river.

5. If you are afraid of getting separated from someone, then imagine that he is promising to be with you every second.

6. If you are afraid of losing someone or something, imagine that even if this happens, will your life not be able to continue?

7. Whenever you are afraid, think about your worst day ever.

8. Then tell yourself that when you had successfully overcome that bad day, you can do anything in life.

9. By knowing the truth of life, you will be able to overcome fear, and no situation will scare you.

10. This method of achieving success over fear is called "imagination therapy".
